Dr. Patricio Reyes holds the Karsten Solheim Dementia Research Chair at Barrow. He earned his bachelor's degree and medical degree from the University of the Philippines. Dr. Reyes trained in the Philippines and in the United States, completing his residency training in adult and pediatric neurology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and Veteran Affairs where is also served as Chief Resident. He then continued his residency training in anatomic pathology at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and continued training in Miami where he completed a fellowship in neuropathology.
Dr. Reyes is engaged in extensive research activities and has served as principal investigator for more than 40 studies. He has published in many scientific journals and lectures internationally.
