Shawn Gale, PhD

Clinical Neuropsychologist

Dr. Gale is one of two neuropsychologists actively involved in research in the Neuropsychology/Neuroimaging Laboratory. Dr. Gale earned his Ph.D. in 1994 from Brigham Young University. He trained with Erin D. Bigler, Ph.D. 

Prior to joining Barrow he was an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia. Most of his publications are related to neuroimaging research and he is currently collecting pilot data for several projects in order to apply for national funding.

Dr. Gale is board certified in clinical neuropsychology and has worked in both the Outpatient Neuropsychology Clinic and the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.  He was certified in Clinical Neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology in 2000.
