Edward Joganic, MD

Plastic Craniofacial Surgeon

Dr. Joganic is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital and Phoenix Children's Hospital. He is currently a craniofacial consultant at Barrow Neurological Institute.

He has been a craniofacial surgeon at Southwest Craniofacial Center since its creation in 1990. He is one of the founding members of the Skull Base Team of the Barrow Neurological Institute. Dr. Joganic is Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education and adjunct Professor at Arizona State University in the Department of Speech and Language. He trained in plastic surgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and completed a fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at the International Craniofacial Institute in Dallas, Texas. 

He retired from the Air Force in 1988 with the rank of Colonel and was designated the Consultant to the Surgeon General for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
