Kirk Aleck, MD
Director of Clinical Genetics
Dr. Aleck is the Director of Clinical Genetics at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. He obtained an A.B. degree from Harvard University, a B.M.S. from Dartmouth Medical School, and his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He completed a pediatric residency at UCLA-Harbor General Hospital in Torrence, California. Dr. Aleck also completed a fellowship in Medical Genetics at UCLA-Harbor General.
He is board certified in Pediatrics, Clinical Genetics, Clinical Biochemical Genetics, and Clinical Cytogenetics. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dr. Aleck has held faculty positions at the University of New Mexico, Southern Illinois University, and the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
