You can ride as a passenger in a high-performance car (either a Chevrolet Corvette or Chevrolet Camaro) with one of the professional instructors at the Bondurant School of High Performance Driving.
You will be able to drive a Bondurant Camaro equipped with special hand controls on the skills pad for accident avoidance instruction and simulation. (NOTE: You must have a valid driver's license to participate in this activity and have at least 6 months of driving experience)
You will also be able to meet Eddie Alexander, a C5-6 quadriplegic who races a 2008 Mitsubishi Evolution (EVO) using hand controls.
The cost is $50 for children and $100 for adults and includes dinner, with proceeds benefitting the Barrow Connection and its outreach programs.
Requirements
You must provide written clearance from your physician if you have had hardware or instrumentation placement in the past 12 months.
You must have a valid driver's license and at least 6 months of driving experience to drive any of the vehicles.
