Barrow Acoustic Neuroma Center
Multi-Disciplinary Team Approach
The Barrow Acoustic Neuroma Center is a multi-disciplinary team at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center designed to provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnostic testing, and treatment patients with acoustic neuromas, neurofibromatosis – type 2 (bilateral acoustic neuromas), and temporal bone disorders. This skull base sub-specialty team will conduct patient care conferences, support collaboration between clinical and research specialists and facilitate educational programs to advance the diagnosis and treatment of temporal bone disorders.
The Barrow Acoustic Neuroma Center will collaborate with other St. Joseph's Hospital programs to meet the needs of this patient population.

Barrow CyberKnife Center
Monthly patient care conferences will include a multi-disciplinary team review of radiographic studies, diagnostic test results, and medical records to develop a treatment plan, manage follow-up care, and monitor outcomes. The team will develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient reviewed and will send the report to the patients' medical providers to coordinate treatment, and facilitate communication and continuity of care.
