Barrow uses state-of-the-art techniques to diagnose neurological tumors, including computer tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), digital subtraction angiography (DSA), and many others. A magnetic resonance image or computed tomography scan can usually identify a tumor based on its size, location, shape, and appearance. If not, a biopsy may be performed.
