A case manager or social worker is assigned to act as a liaison to patients, families, support groups and funding sources. Barrow inpatient rehabilitation offers the following services:

Spinal cord injury education classes

Unlimited patient and family use of the Barrow spinal cord injury library

Access to assisted technology including adapted computers and voice-activated telephones

Access to the Spinal Cord Injury Wellness Program

Participation in spinal cord injury empowerment classes sponsored by the Governor's Council on Spine & Head Injury, Arizona Spinal Cord Injury Association, and Barrow Rehabilitation Services-sponsored events
Spinal Cord Injury Wellness Program - Outpatient Rehabilitation Services
The Barrow Spinal Cord Injury Wellness Program offers comprehensive follow-up services to persons with spinal cord injury and other related disabilities throughout the lifespan. Our goal is to promote wellness through medical management, functional follow-up, health maintenance visits, prevention of secondary disability, psychosocial support, education, and diverse community participation.
