Pediatric patients with neurological conditions can be evaluated and treated at Barrow's clinics at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, at regional outreach clinics, or at affiliated Indian Health Services hospitals. Outpatient clinical activities are held at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix at either the Child Neurology Offices or the Children's Rehabilitative Services (CRS) building. Regional outreach clinics are also held in Flagstaff and Yuma and at the Indian Health Service hospitals in Fort Defiance and Chinle. Patients are evaluated on the pediatric ward and in the pediatric intensive care and neonatal intensive care units of St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. The clinical staff also evaluate patients in the Emergency Department.

The Child Neurology Clinic evaluates children with a variety of neurological and neurodevelopmental problems, including epilepsy, delayed development, headache, muscle weakness, hypotonia, incoordination, movement disorders, stroke, demyelinating disorders, attention deficit disorders, autism, and spasticity.
The Division of Child Neurology also operates an Urgent Consultation Clinic designed to accommodate patients who need to be seen urgently. Appointments can be obtained as quickly as one week in advance.

Children's Rehabilitative Services at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center
Child neurology services at the Children's Rehabilitative Services (CRS) Clinics in Phoenix provide evaluation and treatment of patients with intractable epilepsy, cerebral palsy, neurofibromatosis, neurodegenerations, spasticity, dystonia, and other specific conditions. The Division of Child Neurology also provides neurology consultation services for the Spasticity Clinic, the Neurofibromatosis Clinic, and the Neurogenetics Clinic at CRS.

Pediatric Neuromuscular Disorders Center and the MDA Clinic
Children with neuromuscular disorders are evaluated and managed at the MDA Clinic and in the Children's Rehabilitation Services (CRS) Clinic at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. The neuromuscular disorders program is under the direction of John B. Bodensteiner, MD.
Pediatric Neurogenetics Center
The Pediatric Neurogenetics Center provides multidisciplinary evaluation for children with undiagnosed neurodegeneration, familial neurological disorders, mitochondrial disorders, and cytogenetic disorders. These consultation services are provided in the CRS Clinics and in the Genetics Department of the Children's Health Center.
