Neurofibromatosis Clinics

Patients with either neurofibromatosis (NF) 1 or NF 2 are evaluated and managed in the NF clinic at the Children's Rehabilitation Services Clinic (CRS). This multidisciplinary clinic is staffed by specialists in child neurology, genetics, psychology, psychiatry, social work, and nursing. The Neurofibromatosis Clinic provides comprehensive evaluation of these patients and coordinates referrals to other specialists in the CRS clinics such as pediatric ophthalmology, pediatric neurosurgery, and orthopedics.
 
Patients with NF 1 or NF 2 are also seen in the Child Neurology Offices at St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Office Building, 500 W. Thomas Road, including adult patients with NF 1 or NF 2. The clinic provides neurogenetic consultation for patients who might have NF 2 and are part of the BNI Acoustic Neuroma program.
