Pediatric Neuromuscular Disorders

The Pediatric Neuromuscular Disorders Center provides diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of pediatric neuromuscular disease, myasthenia gravis, inflammatory myopathies, muscular dystrophy, congenital myopathies, spinal muscular atrophy, hereditary ataxias, and other conditions.
The pediatric neuromuscular disorders program provides clinical services through the MDA Clinic and the Children's Rehabilitation Services Clinic. These multidisciplinary clinics include the following specialists: child neurologist, physical therapist, orthotist, and wheel chair specialists/vendors. Consultation with other specialties, including cardiology, pulmonology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, pediatric surgery, and physical medicine, is arranged as needed.
