Referrals
The Gamma Knife Center at Barrow accepts patient referrals from neurologists, neurosurgeons, primary care physicians, and patients. Referrals are reviewed by a Gamma Knife specialist to screen for treatment eligibility. The following information is requested for the screening process:
- Patient's name and age
- MRI or CT scans
- Diagnosis/current symptoms
- Brief medical history
- Treatment history overview (surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy)
Potential patients should first consult their treating physician. Physicians wishing to refer a patient are encouraged to contact Barrow's Gamma Knife Center or fill out the referral form from the link below and fax to the number provided.

Referrals may also be made by telephone or by email, please contact us. Please understand that we cannot provide emergency care by email. In some instances email responses may take several days. If you think you have a psychological or medical emergency, please call Emergency Response Services (911 in the United States) or go quickly to the nearest hospital.
