Learning Modules

The Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center and Movement Disorder Clinic is proud to offer free online learning courses. This series of online courses aims to make learning about Parkinson's disease and effective management as engaging as possible.

At this time there is one course available: Parkinson's Disease 101. It consists of 3 modules, an introduction to the Muhammad Ali Parkinson's Center and an evaluation. On average, the course takes about 40 minutes to complete and provides an overview of Parkinson's disease. Some topics covered are dealing with diagnosis, symptoms and introduction to treatment options. Upcoming modules will discuss medication, deep brain stimulation surgery, exercise and nutrition.
