The Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center Financial Assistance Program is available to assist those with Parkinson's disease bridge their insurance coverage gap who reside in Arizona. Currently there are four types of financial assistance avaiable through the program: a sliding fee program administered through St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, the Ali Care Program administered through the MAPC, Medicare Prescription Donut-hole Program administered through the MAPC, and assistance from pharmaceutical companies.
Services provided through the different programs can include:
Medical Treatment
- Medication assistance
- Doctor's office visits
- Laboratory and radiology services
- Durable medical equipment assistance
Family Care
- Family assessment
- Case management
- Resource identification and assistance
Therapeutic Rehabilitation
- Outpatient therapy evaluations
- Home safety evaluations
