Caring for someone you love can be very rewarding, but it is well known that caregiving can be a difficult and demanding role, compounded further by limited information and resources. The following courses are designed to provide useful information, as well as interactive exercises and tools targeted toward the well being of the caregivers.
The following classes have been scheduled sequentially at each location listed below so that caregivers may participate in one or all of the classes as desired.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers
Caregiving is a loving gift from the heart, but it is also very challenging and demanding. This 6-week program provides information to improve care giving ability, promote self-care and increase self confidence. This series will help you improve your communication skills, reduce your stress and also help you work through difficult emotions such as guilt, anger, and depression.

Living with Dementia
If you are living with someone whose cognitive changes have impacted their ability to perform daily activities, you are likely dealing with dementia. Dementia is difficult- it can be heartbreaking, frustrating, and it presents continual challenges. This class is designed to help you understand dementia by providing you with the knowledge and practical hands-on suggestions you can employ in your household and lives thereby easing the carepartner load.

Caregiver Workshop- "Coping and Caring"
This meaningful workshop focuses on providing the caregiver with strategies for coping with the changes that occur when caring for a person with Parkinson's disease and practical methods to incorporate caring for you into daily practice. Join us for free presentations, yoga, for relaxation and wellness, fun and sharing with other caregivers. and a relaxing lunch.
