Managing Late Stages of Parkinson's Disease

Over time and years of living with a progressive chronic disease, people begin to find the basic activities of everyday living more and more difficult. This program is designed as a hands-on 4-week workshop, providing strategies and recommendations to help people who have the disease help themselves by developing a sense of independence and in turn help their caregivers in a care-partnership manner. This portion will also teach caregivers how to physically care for someone with advanced PD. Secondly, the program is focused on caregivers to help them care for themselves and remain in charge of their own lives.
