Naomi Salins, MD
Naomi Salins, MD, is a faculty physician in the Movement Disorders Program at Barrow Neurological Institute, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Salins specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of involuntary movements, Essential Tremor, Parkinson’s disease and Parkinsonian Syndromes, Huntington’s disease, Dystonia and Ataxia. She is trained in managing patients with Deep Brain Stimulation and the use of Botulinum Toxin for various movement disorders.
Her research interest is in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and she serves as an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Movement Disorder Society.
Dr. Salins received her Medical Degree in Mumbai, India. She completed a residency in Neurology at the University of Buffalo, New York and her Fellowship training in Clinical Movement Disorders and Deep Brain Stimulation at Barrow Neurological Institute.
