Brain Tumor Support Group
The Brain Tumor Support Group is open to individuals with brain tumors and their family members and friends. Participants meet other individuals in similar situations, discuss problems, and listen to guest speakers on occasion. Dinner is provided. The group meets the fourth Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital in Conference Rooms 4 and 5. For more information, please call 602-406-3178.
Caregivers Support Group
The Caregivers Support Group provides information, resources, and assistance for individuals caring for others with illnesses or disabilities. The group meets the second Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital's Outpatient Rehabilitation Building at 114 W. Thomas Road in Phoenix. For more information, call 602-406-6688.
Grief Support Group
St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center hosts the Grief Support Group Wednesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Mercy conference room. A certified grief counselor leads the group. For more information, call 602-406-3275.
Long-Term Brain Injury Survivors Support Group
The Long-Term Brain Injury Survivors support group offers survivors of traumatic head injuries and their families an environment for sharing, learning, and socializing. Guest speakers are often invited to address reintegration into the community and work force, regaining independence, and community resources. The group meets the second Monday of each month (excluding August) from 7:00 to 8:15 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital in Dining Room A. The Stroke Survivors Support Group provides information, resources and support for stroke survivors and their families. The group meets the first Tuesday of every month from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Grand Canyon Room on the second floor of the McAuley Building at 500 W. Thomas Road in Phoenix.
