Dr. McDougall is a leader in the use of endovascular techniques for the treatment of cerebrovascular disease. He received residency training at the University of Saskatchewan and the University of California at San Francisco. He completed Fellowship training at the University of California at San Francisco in Interventional Neuroradiology.
Later, he held an academic position with the University of California at San Francisco where he was Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology. Dr. McDougall has published extensively in the neurosurgical and neuroscience literature. He is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
