Dr. Dickman specializes in surgery of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, endoscopic spinal surgery, spinal reconstruction and internal fixation, spinal cord and spinal column tumors and surgery of craniovertebral junction and skull base. Born in Forest Hills, New York, Dr. Dickman earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Arizona State University in Tempe and his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Barrow Neurological Institute before moving to Gainesville, Florida, to complete a Fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Dickman has held academic positions with the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson where he is an Assistant Professor, Division of Neurological Surgery. He has published more than 100 articles and 80 chapters for the neurosurgical literature and served as editor for the textbooks Surgery of the Craniovertebral Junction and Thoracoscopic Spine Surgery.
