Susan Rhodes, MSc
Laboratory Coordinator
Susan Rhodes received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Arizona State University, where she was involved in basic research in genetics for 11 years. In 1991, she joined Barrow Neurological Institute, where she continued her research. When the Neuroimmunology Laboratory opened in 2003, she was named Laboratory Coordinator. In addition to overseeing laboratory operations, Susan has worked on many studies involving human subjects. She has been involved with the Arizona Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society since 1995 and serves as a research advocate, a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Walk Committee, and a team captain for St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. Susan has also facilitated a self-help group for women with MS for many years. She enjoys theater, gardening, music, and spending time with her family.
